HI I cant decide which one to buy.. I hear that the psb , especially the t6, is one of the best speaker for its price range ($600) but I know KEF makes really good speakers aswell. Im trying to get a 5.1 set going, the kef's q200c center is much better than the psb c5. but still idk which one I should get. my room size is 25x15.5x6.5.. and my receiver is denon 4310c

It seems like all the KEF and PSB speakers I've seen have excellent frequency response measurements.

I've only auditioned the PSB Imagine T and the KEF 201/2 speakers.

The KEF 201/2s sounded much better - clearer, more detail and resoluion in the midrange and trebles.

Of course, the KEF 201/2s are retailed at $3K each, and the PSB Imagine T is $1K each.

If you feel the KEF center speaker is much better than the PSB, I would get the KEF center speaker plus the KEF front L/R speakers.

I can't speak to the KEF speakers but I extensively auditioned a fair number of speakers recently (B&W 603, NHT floorstanders, and Paradigm Monitor 9s) and I chose the PSB Image T6. Those were the speakers that were available to buy locally. I thought the PSB Image T6 were the most neutral speakers of the lot and sounded better (but not a lot better since the other speakers are clearly good choices as well) than the alternatives.
