PSB Image on Audiophile Liquidators

Does anyone have experience with Audiophile Liquidators? They have the PSB Image T65 for $969. Any comments on this speaker, or the T55?

I posted a question a couple of weeks ago about Paradigm Studio 60s or Rockets. Like the Rockets, I can't find any way to listen to the PSBs without buying them (I'm in Tampa). If anyone has listened to the PSBs and how they compare Digms I would like to hear your opinions.

Thanks, good forum.

The only issue with audiophile liquidators is that they are not authorized, and PSB will not honor the warranty.
DMC electronics is authorized online and has some great deals as well.
As for the speakers, I have hear the image 15's and 20's and thought they were really nice. They have detailed highs which some may call bright. I do not however.

Thanks for the reply. Good site, I may be able to upgrade to the silver line with DMC.

If I may I'd like to suggest you consider the PSB 7PT. It is similar to the 6T (forerunner to the 65T) except that it has a powered sub built in to each speaker. I have heard this speaker and I would love to own it, in fact I've already begun hinting at what I want for Christmas ;) . The 7 PT is the reason I have not bought two more Image series bookshelf speakers to round out a 7.1 setup. I own 4 2B's and an 8C and I simply love how they sound. I am of course biased, and I would also suggest that you do not buy a speaker without auditioning it in depth at first. I know you said that you will have trouble demoing PSB, but go on their website and look for a local authorized dealer. The silver line of PSB is just a great series of speakers as well IMO, but despite the ratings I do think that they are power hogs and need big amps to sound their best. If you can live with a slightly older series of speakers then please give the 7 PT's a look (think 65t with really deep bass).
