PSB - B15 step up from alpha B1?

I haven't had a chance to audition either of these, but there is certainly no shortage of glowing reviews for either the alpha B1 or the B25. However, I can pick up the B15's for $215, whereas I can't even find the alpha B1 for that low of a price.

I'm almost thinking that the B25's, as good as they are, may not be discrete enough for my application. I intend to install a pair of speakers high above some kitchen cabinetry and would be about 2 feet or so from the ceiling.

So, question is: Is the B15 at least as good as the alpha B1? On paper it would seem so, but there are way more reviews of the B1. And, those considering the B15 wind up getting the B25 instead.

Any others to consider in the low 200s? Thanks....

The B15 is well worth the premium over the Alpha, that are also often recommended at the price point.

I've heard them side by side, and IMO its pretty easy to detect the large improvement. IMO.

If you mount them high, can you have them angled down? What IS nice about the Alphas is that they have keyholes for wall/ceiling mounting. Images don't.

The B25s are very, very large. Something to understand. Anyways, I hope that helps!
