PS3 & yamaha 1800

I have searched everywhere and i cant find anything i just need a quick answer.

I have a ps3 i want 7.1 channel sound, looking at the yamaha RX-V1800B but cant find a definitive answer on wether it accepts LPCM or not where as the RX-V863 says in its comparison chart it does.

Will the 1800 work properly with my PS3

Yes, the PS3 works fantastic with the RX-V1800, it's what I use and it accepts the 7.1 PCM just fine, and sounds wonderful.

you have no idea how hard it was for me to finally find that out now i can go to the shop and get one

No problem. You could always just downlaod the .pdf version of the owners manual and look in the specs section.
