PS3 lack of bitstreaming Dolby TrueHD

Apparently the PS3 isn't fully HDMI 1.3 compliant in regards to bitstreaming TrueHD and DTS MA to receivers, as it only sends the information as PCM. How big of a deal is this in regards to AQ? Anything noticeable?

But just for the sake of it, I think the PS3 slim can bitstream HD formats.
