PS3 & DTS Audio-CD?

I've been trying to get a DTS audio CD (Diana Krall Love Scenes) to play on the PS3 in my family room. So far all I get is static. It plays just fine in my bedroom LG BD270 but not in the old fat 60GB PS3 where my main system is. This is the old one that plays SACD.

I see that the PS3 setup menus have changed. I don't see the bitstream vs PCM menu anymore, just a list of formats the PS3 knows my receiver can handle. Am I missing something? Is this something the PS3 simply can't do?

I have the same problem with playback on my PC - just static. The PC just sees 1K cda files. My WDTV Live will lay back DTS but since the computer only sees empty files there is no copying them over.

Any ideas?

I can always playback though another old DVD player I have hooked up but I sort of wanted to retire it.

There is actually a thread on this but I can't find it at the moment. It is a setting that will let it work - I believe for me it was in the digital out setting, all of the output rates need to be enabled for it to send the PCM properly. Mine works, so I know it works.

Thanks! The cure was this post. Some of the other suggestions no longer appear in v3.15's menus but this one works perfectly. Thanks again!
