PS3 Continues to Dominate in Japan
Fist of the North Star and Yakuza top the software charts.

April 2, 2010 - There's no stopping the PS3 in Japan. For the second week in a row, the system topped both the hardware and software charts from Media Create.
In software, the PS3 version of Fist of the North Star Musou debuted with 385,000 units, easily placing it in first. The pairing of the Fist of the North Star manga license with the Dynasty Warriors franchise also saw Xbox 360 release. This version placed 7th.
Other strong sellers for the PS3 were Yakuza 4, which approached 500,000 in its second week of sales, and God of War III, which made it in at sixth in its first week.
Here's the full top 10 for March 22 through March 28. Life to date sales are in parenthesis.

* 10. Saki Portable (Alchemist, PSP): 20,000
Friend Collection topped the 3 million mark this week. The game has been a constant fixture in the top 10 since its release last June.
Thanks to sales of Fist and Yakuza, as well as apparent demand for the recently released Torne DVR kit, PS3 stayed level with last week's surge to 50,000 units. PSP also experienced somewhat of a boost this week.
