Here is the deal, as far as I've read, for a Home Theatre system (5.1 DTS films mainly), in a room about 25m2, with an Onkyo 506, looking for a low estimate composition this are now my two main targets:

I don't know exactly the quality of both because I don't have a shop to confirm so, but from what I've read, behringer looks for quality while puresound looks for design.

But someone has replied me that Puresound 204 can also achieve better quality of sound for a Home Theatre than Behringer that is more aimed for music purposes...

What do you think on all this? For this prize range, to what should I aim for?

Regards,
SL

A quality speaker is a quality speaker, period. While the Behringers may be geared toward near-field listening, I have heard Mackies, which are also stuido monitors, in a typical room at a normal home theater listening distance and they still sounded excellent.

Me personally, I will take quality sound over looks.
