I have chnaged my set-up and now have all my gear in a nearby closet away from the display, front stage and sub.
I am going to use external raceways to hide thew wires along the floor(renter), but there is a bedroom doorway I must span with a 24AWG HDMI cable, a sub cable, and five sets of 14guage speaker wire. to get to the main rooms' walls.

What can I use to protect the cabling from an accidental tripping or pulling on?
*I'm a renter
*I already have the cabling and cannot, due to not being long enough, run it over the door and back down the other side....so it has to run across the floor.

bandphan...thanks so much for all your recent help!

Those look very promising but......that does not look like it would fit all my cables. Do they make larger or possibly I could run two or three next to each other in parrallel.

Ahh, you snap the cables in from underneath, not run the heads that are too big through.......duh.
Awesome bandphan!

Most of those will accomodate a standard power cord and a few pieces of CAT5....if that's a reference for you. Any larger and you almost defeat the purpose.

Chinese, but it sounds like you have used them at one time for yourself, business or an install maybe and you didn't say anything negative....so I take that as a good sign :)

It's Japanese and I'm a Maryland based redneck....who'd a thunk it? ;) I agree, you'll be ok.

O.k., I need a little more help here.

All the references are for Cat 5 cables.
How do they compare in size to 14guage speaker wire, a 24guage HDMI and a thin subwoofer cable?

also they are designed for extension cords, you will be fine, just zip tie then for neatness, and less chance of movement
