Im not sure if posting this in the movie forum is the right place being that it's a doccumentary but it is on film/dvd so i put it here.
Richard Pronneke/ Alone in the wilderness is the title of this doccumentary,i'd seen this program on PBS about a year ago & my wife knew i loved it so she bought me the dvd's.
It's a 30 year doccumentary about a man (**** Pronekke) who retired at age 51 & pursued his lifelong dream to live in the Alaskan Wilderness,he spent an entre year building his cabin from scratch by himself & the following year left civilization for the next 35 plus years,hunting,fishing & exploring Alaska.
Suvivorman & that fake a$$ Bear Grills couldnt wash Richard's socks,this was one bad man & the video's are excellent,Richard turned his cabin over to the national parks service & is now a tourist attraction.
