Problems with Denon 2910

Problem 1: Unable to get any video via HDMI connection,not even the setup menu. Connecting to Toshiba 56MX195 w/ audioquest 2meter HDMI.

Problem 2: Dual sided disc's such as AIX's Nitty Gritty Surround will not play DVD Audio side. Get "Warning! You have placed a DVD Audio disc in a DVD Video player. Turn disc over.etc..."

Any help solving these problems will be greatly appreciated

POST: Solved problem 2, older post noted the "other" settings ..Player Mode must be set to "audio". this solved the problem. Still no solution on the HDMI issue..Thanks to all ..Jack

there is an option on the remote to turn on the DVI or HDMI output...in the top left under the off button

you press the button until the option you want is displayed, the default selection if DVI / HDMI Off or something like that


not sure about the audio disc though

I'll take a stap at #2, Although I'm not well versed in Denons. In the set-up menu, that is once you get the menu visible onscreen, Make sure your DVD priority is set to Audio, not Video.
