I just came home from school today, turned on my receiver. I could barley hear the right channel. The driver wasnt working at all, but I could hear the horn (tweeter). I go to turn it down all the way, and the right horn was still playing?!? But not the left. The left channel works fine, but only the horn on the right will work, even when I turn the volume to 0. WTF????????

Swap the speakers - that will tell you if it is a speaker or receiver or possibly even a wiring problem. If the problem follows the speaker, the speaker could be damaged. If it stays on the same side, then it obviously isn't the speaker and you need to do furhter testing to eliminate possibilities.

Does that receiver have preamp outs? If it does and you have a spare amp laying around you can try that, and if that solves the problem, maybe you can pick up an inexpensive 2ch amp.

That's a good possibility, could be a stray wire that was shorting. I have seen were some Yammies and H/Ks don't tolerate shorting at all (as well they shouldn't) Could have just been a loose wire on one end too.
