Problem with Swan M10s

Hi guys

I bought a set of Swan M10s a few months ago and they've been working fine. However, since I got back from a trip for a few weeks they've been acting up.

When all the cables are plugged into the jacks in the correct order the vocals of songs is barely audible and the bass is also quite low with the overall sound quite murky. I've tried rearranging the cables around a bit and found out that when I take one of the audio in cables out and leave the other 3 in their jacks, the vocals become much clearer but the bass is still very lacking.

As far as I can see there is no visible wear and tear on the cables or the speakers themselves.

Sorry my description of the problem is so unclear, it's quite hard to describe the situation.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

This is a self powered 2.1 system. I can not find a user manual, so I don't know how this unit is configured. In this situation there are a number of possibilities.

However if everything is plugged in correctly, either this speaker system or the source has seriously malfunctioned. What are you driving this desk top system with?
