I just got a whole set of axiom speakers today with the ep350 sw. The sub never works when ever i do the auto speaker set up or when i just use the test tones. Never makes any noise. Only time it will make noise is when my right surround for A and B will go off. Just have speakers for surround A and not B but that is the only time the sub will make noise.
I have the rca plug going from the pre sub out on the reciever to the sub. Have messed with all the speakers changing them from large to small and the sub settings from LFE to LFE +mains. Everything i do still never changes anything. Has anyone ever heard of this or can tell me what else to try? I am lost and this is my first time hooking up a sub or any decent speakers. Just used to have some bose before. Hope ya can help.

Considering the fact that you had Bose before, you may have had the Denon configured to "No Sub". Have you changed this to "Sub Yes" in the set-up?

Kinda confused with that "A" and "B" speaker stuff.

Dunno, but you may want to check how your speakers are wired on the back of the receiver. The way you describe it sounds a bit funky. The "A" speakers are the set that will work the subwoofer. The "B" speakers are a two channel stereo pair that is mainly to be used as extention speakers.

OH i got it finally. I just had my head up my *** and was dyslexic or something. Had the damn rca jack coming out of the pre surround jack. Even pulled it out of there and checked and double checked a couple of times. Put it in the right hole and it seems to start working. lol. thanks anyways guys.
