Hello, I owned this reciever a Onkyo sr803 for about 2 years now. And have nothing but praise for it. Just recently I have been having a problem with it. I noticed that it was not always producing sound, but after turning it off then back on it will work again. But as of right now, it will only play through the Pure Audio or direct channel.

Ive got 3 Axiom audio speakers to it, and a svs subwoofer. Along with an xbox and oppo dvd player.

Are they quick fixes to this? Or should I take it in to get checked out?

Did you have any luck? I am having similar problems. I think it is the DSP board.

I have a TX-SR503 that is not always switching on demanded channels. Many times I can get those channels to switch on by turning on and off the surround mode several times. That tells me that some of the internal speaker switches might be sticking. Onkyo is leaving me very annoyed with their quality.
