I have been using my new receiver with no problems for 2 weeks now until tonight. Upon turning on my PS3 I noticed that the receiver does not play all the sound that the PS3 is sending it. For example the little click noise when you move around the XMB is not there anymore and there is no background music when playing games. There isn't even music when you highlight a game like Gran Turismo or Warhawk in the XMB like there was before. I hooked up the PS3 directly to the TV just to check and the TV plays all the sound so it has to be problem with the receiver. What can I do? I haven't changed a setting in the PS3 since I got the receiver so it just stopped working all of a sudden.
I may resolve on it's own.
When I had my PS3 + HK247, I had the same problem a few times.
And sometimes I had absolutely no sound at all!
And sometimes I had no picture.
HDMI is tricky sometimes with both Video & Audio.
