I'm trying to connect a Shaw (Can. cable company) Motorola DCT 6400 PVR to a Sharp Aquos 37" LCD (LC37G?U) with an outboard tuner/input box. When I use the component input the picture is fine but when I use DVI there is a 2" strip on the right side of the picture that looks like it's being viewed through a prism. I think this might be a scaling problem. A small box on the screen says 480p. Is there a way to change the output to 720p? Anyway I need to free up one of the component inputs. Thanks.
