For the last month or so, my receiver has been changing inputs on its own. It doesn't matter what source I have set. It will change to something else at random. Does anyone have any ideas? It might be time to upgrade.

Make sure no one is using another remote for whatever equipment in the surrounding. Try unplugging the unit and wait 10 minutes before plugging it back in. If the problem remains then try resetting the processor. After that your remaining option would be to bring it in to an authorized repair shop but get an estimate first. You may also contact Denon technical support for advice, just email them and phone them as well.

If you're lucky, it could be your remote malfunctioning. Try turning on the gear and then take the batteries out of remote and see if that fixes it.
