This is my problem child. The opening is now French doors and the baywindow is from ground to ceiling. The projection screen is in the bay window and all gear is under it. I have two couches, one 1’ from the back wall, and the other by the windows on the sidewall. The room has a 10’ ceiling and real bad echo. The bass is boomy and the overall sound is bright. Can you help to treat this room? Thanks in advance.

There are a couple things you can do.. First I would move the back couch away from the back wall by a few feet.. You really want to be sitting 38% of the room length if possible.
Second thing you can to, which is most important is to install bass traps. Most rooms need between 6 to 10 depending on room problems.. You want to straddle corners with them..

Hope that helps.
