Hi all !!!

After reading some post I think you can help me :p

I am trying to connect my PC to a receiver AV over spdif:

-MOBO: Asus P5q
-audio MOBO: Realtek ALC1200
-receiver A/V: Yamaha rx-v365
-cable: Coaxial RCA

My problem is that, ramdomly (2 times in a minute or one in 3 hours), a cut in audio sign that provokes a sound cut (300 ms).

The rx-v365 indicates it to me blinking during this time loudspeakers and sign of entry (pcm) icons.

I dont believe that cable is the problem; its a 2 meters RCA.

Rx-v365 neither. I have tried to connect mobo sound over jack 3.5/RCA cable successfully without any problem (but too many cables )

In the bios I have selected SPDIF.

I have updated the bios to 2102 version.
I have tried with the last drivers of realtek (HD and AC97) and asus.

Has someone a similar configuration?... or problem?

Thanks for help and tips... and sorry about bad english.

Try going to the control panel in Windows and double check your output options. What version of Windows?

Upsss... I forget it

O.S: Windows Xp professional (32 bit) SP3

Output options: Realtek HD Audio output
Speaker system selected: without speakers
Mixer: All turn off except "wave" and SPDIF. Spdif slicer is blocked
Realtek mixer: Wave and spdif (blocked again). Selected digital output to 44.1KHz
