Pretty sure I'm going Anthem P5 - now to find a deal

LOL - Thanks - I hope you enjoy the P5 as much as I do! I was worried I would plop down a big wad o' cash and not like it but I'm happy with it. If you happen to see a good deal on the P2 I'd appreciate it. I've seen two MSRPs listed for the P2 - not sure which is right and why they vary by $500.

I dont own one; I just have a good relationship with my dealer so I was going to see what I could work out for you.

Nice amp Bo. I have read the reviews where they put a fork between the terminals to try and short it out.

Did you get a 9.8? What are you using for a prepro?

Thanks - if you happen to be at your dealers and you have a moment can you find out what the P2 is supposed to go for? - I see it listed at $2500 and $3000 - that is of course before the haggling but I'm not sure why there are two different MSRPs. It's really hard to try and get an idea if you are getting a discount if you don't know what the MSRP is.

I haven't gotten a new prepro yet. I still have a Sony 9000es that has served me fine for 7 years but I'd love to replace it with something that some more current technology. If Anthem made a D3 I'd probably get one I've got an Onkyo 885 on order but who knows if that will arrive. I'd love to know more about street price and actual release date on the Denon but that is a shifting target.
