Presence speaker ideas??

I'm thinking of getting a pair of speakers to run as presence speakers but need some ideas. Currently I have Def. tech. BP10B's as mains, BP2X's as surrounds, a CLR 3000 handling the CC duties, and an SVS PB12 Plus/2 sub. I have a yammie RX-V2500 driving these. My budget for the speakers is $200. Any good recommendations?

Thanks!!

Brian,

Thanks!! Those look like they just might do the trick - and under budget too!!! Now, I wonder if they come in black??
Nope on the black. I had wished this as well, and others have contacted Fluance about this. They may in the future do them in black.

Sorry at the moment no I do not. But someone will reply, with a suggestion on black speakers.

However, presence speakers are made to be behind the mains and would not be seen much at all. Also, a can of flat black spray paint would work. Or even better have a black veneer put on them.

They have gotten very good reviews and are compared to speakers in the 300.00+ range. They seem to be very versatile. And would be worth the money.

Sounds like a really good speaker. I didn't think about spray painting them - not a bad idea.

Yeah for 119.00 I don't think you could go wrong with these. I am sure that Fluance would still allow for the warranty on the electonics. And by making the cabinet black would not void the warranty. All they would do is change the driver or crossover if needed. But I am sure that it would not be needed, and these would last for years. Specially for only using them as presence speakers with very little power going to them.

How about a pair of Def Tech ProMonitor 80s. You should be able to get them for that price. :D
