Prescents Speakers....

[RX-V2400]

<font color='#000000'>Just putting finishing touches to the system based on the RX-V2400 and for the first time I've learnt about prescents speakers. I have already to set up Fronts, l &amp; R and Center and four souround speakers at sides and back.

Is there much more to be gained by adding the two prescents speakers and if so should they be equal to the souround speakers or can they be smaller?</font>

<font color='#000000'>Well I have the DSP-A2 older model which has the same front effect feature. For that front effect channel I have 2 Boston acoustics speakers small ones like computer speakers and have noticed that this extra effect channel isn’t really necessary. They only work when you have selected a DSP mode we’re they work as to try and put you in closer to a hall or something else.</font>
