They look awesome, and I hear they sound awesome, and pretty much every person I talk to say they're great.(They're back up to 350$ now, used to be only 250, I should have gotten them then!)
But then I noticed, they were released in 2004?!
I was wondering if a successor or something was planned? I couldn't find anything on Google...
I'd hate to purchase them and then have a newer, better model come out. I know you guys just tell me to get 'Bookshelf" speakers, but I do not have the room, nor the money for ones that would be worth it.(People talk of Okyo sets for 200$ or something, but I also have to buy alot of other hardware, ranging up to 700$+)
They're almost 6 years old, I'd imagine another new model is due, but I can't find anything on Google or Logitech's site about it. I currently have the X-540...I got them in 2006 and they're good, but I hear one of the speakers popping and occasionally white noise...so I think the time is due.
