Pre-Amp recommendation for Emotiva LPA-1

I am looking for a preamp for the LPA-1. Since Emotiva are not making the LMC-1 anymore what would be a nice match for the LPA-1 that would have a very similar features and price range as the LMC-1.

You have a few options. You could wait until the LMC-2 comes out in the next few months, but that's a long wait if you already have the LPA-1. The Outlaw 970 is similar to the LMC-1. Or, just pick up a receiver with preouts like the Yamaha 661 and all is good.

Yeah, I would absolutely wait for the LMC-2!

will picking up a receiver with pre outs give u the same quality sound as buying the seperate processor to pair with the amp? i hear that the seperates give a cleaner sound
