Pre amp Causing a Hum?

my emotiva mmc1 is causing a hum in my subs even when its unplugged. I have Ruled out the sub as the cause , i am not sure what to do any suggestions

Hmm...

Try plugging the amp and the sub from the same circuit or wall plate.

If no avail, try some mix and match between your components, using the same or different circuits (wall plates).

Also, distance the amp & pre/pro from the TV, tuner (receiver) and cable box.

As long that the hum is not too loud, it's perfectly normal, don't fret it.
