Anybody have a idea or had issues with their 3800 ,
When i turn the 3800 on it will sometimes but not everytime make the house power go off and come right back on. It does NOT trip breakers just the power to the house for like 2 sec.
I have had a election out 3 times and they can not find anything wrong except a neutral ground fault .
Could it be the 3800 power supply or a short in the 3800 somewhere?
And Merry Christmas

It might solve or not part of the problem. I suggest that you plug the AVR 3800 in a different circuit than that it is connected to for awhile. If the problem recurs on the different circuit, most likely it would trip that circuit breaker. Then if it does, the circuit breaker which was previously powering the 3800 is defective and should be replaced.

Also your AVR 3800 is obviously defective. I recommend that you have a competent technician look at it.
