Possible Problem with Pioneer 92TXH Elite

I am having a problem with my Pioneer 92 receiver and a Dish Network HD receiver. THe dialog is distorted when using any of the matrix soundfields on SD channels with 2.0 PCM sound. The dialog sounds fine coming through the center channel but is bleed through and distorted on the other 6 channels (7.1 set up). This does not happen with Dolby Digital HD channels or with my blu ray, hd dvd or ipod. I have tried swaping out HDMI cables, tried using an optical cable for the sound, swaping Dish Network HD receivers and resetting the Pioneer to factory defaults but the problem is still there. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is this a Pioneer receiver issue or an issue with the Dish Network receiver?

Contact DisNetwork tech support. I had a simliar problem with 622 DVR and they replaced it.

Also check with DishNetwork about the firmware on your DishNetwork receiver. By the way, I now have a 622 and a 722. The 722 has an even nicer 1080 HDMI interface.
