Possible Ground Loop?

Currently I have a Home Theater setup that follows: HD-DVR, DVD Player, and Xbox 360 plugged into a component switcher, and then into a receiver and the hdtv(30 inch Sony CRT). The setup is finished with 7 speakers and a subwoofer. My problem is, no matter how I hook up the system, with the xbox or dvr directly to the tv or through the component switch, I get very feint lines all over my tv when HD content is displayed. I am unsure whether or not the lines are always there but they are most prevalent on HD content when a screen of mainly the same color is displayed. One thing that is awful about the current room, is that the outlet I am using is NOT grounded... I've been working on grounding it for the past week or so but havent completed that project yet. Is it possible that the lines on the tv are from the system not having a ground? There is no audible hum on the speakers as they perform perfectly. Any suggestions on a test I could do, or way to figure out just exactly what is going on?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Try this experiment:

Totally unplug the cable TV/Sat TV from the setup, including the TV. Then send video to the TV and see if those lines are there. I am betting when you unplug the TV the lines will be history. If so, plug the cable TV back and look for the tell tale signs. Then buy this:

for all your incoming TV lines. Give us feedback, please.

Removed cable input

After Removing the cable input totally from the setup, the lines improved greatly... I came to the same semi-conclusion yesterday and purchased a surge protector with a coaxial cable support. This does not fully fix my issue though sadly, the lines are still most definitely there, enough so that it is still annoying while watching any HD content. Ive even tried having just the Xbox 360 and TV as the only things plugged into the surge protector and everything else unplugged, and the lines are still there....confused

I provided a link to cable ground isolators that should fix the issue. Surge protectors usually don't.
