Hello,

I've joined a ballroom dance team and now find myself needing some portable speakers for my partner and I to use when we practice.

My requirements:
- 3.5mm input for use with my clip zip
- loud, I want to be able to fill up a large room so that I can hear the music when I dance from one side to the other, not really concerned with distortion or ends of frequency response.
- power by wall outlet (if also has a battery, a perk)
- "smallish" / lightweight / 2.0, fit inside backpack easily, carried around all day
- not too expensive, if stolen or broken wouldn't be a huge loss. so < $50

Looking around I see a lot of sets for ~$15 but imagine I would be disappointed with the loudness. Then going up from there are a lot of options in $25-$40 range but I'm too indecisive when choosing one over another. Is anyone familiar with what the current market has to offer in meeting my needs?

thanks!
