My left rear speaker (5.1 system) is making a loud popping noise when we adjust the volume on the receiver (Pioneer Elite - not sure the model but is a few years old and was about $1200). The pop only happens on when you pass through two different decibel levels as you are adjusting the volume. Unfortunately its an inwall speaker so I can't check the wires. Any thoughts on what the problem is?
