Just regular butter flavored microwave popcorn. I like the popcorn that is sold by the boy scouts, but don't usually get it.

I don't think it's available any longer but my favorite guilty pleasure is Orville Redenbacher's Cinnabon Popcorn.

Popcorn at the theater can be really good, but it's not good for you, and at our local establishment for a small it is only $4.50, your cost may vary

It's healthier than a lot of stuff people eat. At least it gots some fiber in it.:D

Best corn is when you make it yourself:

A few ounces of oil heated for 5.5 minutes. Throw in 3/4 of a solo cup of jalapenos for 6 minutes. Put in a full solo cup of kernels with some popcorn salt mixed in and let it pop. Yum.

Not so sure the fiber outweighs the eating of corn at a theater:

A medium-sized popcorn and medium soda at the nation's largest movie chain pack the nutritional equivalent of three Quarter Pounders topped with 12 pats of butter, according to a report released today by the advocacy group Center for Science in the Public Interest.

My first job was at a concessions stand at a movie theater, we used to make a game out of making "atomic popcorn." We would put as much oil and salt in the mix while it popped (someone started a fire once) and if someone ordered a large popcorn with butter and a diet soda we would try to put enough butter on the corn to, eventually, cause the bag to break.

FYI: The "butter" used at a movie theater is closer to a melted plastic than any food product I have seen. Ohh, and the popcorn salt smells like cotton candy, but is not at all sweet .

I agree, for a quick fix I just do this. I sub a variety of ingredients, lately it has been fresh medium heat red chili powder from Hatch New Mexico with cayenne for heat - amazing.

Hatch has some great chiles so that must be very nice.

If I make it: Butterscotch Crunch Popcorn, the recipe came with my popcorn maker and it is the best stuff in the world literally. Especially if you leave it for an hour or so for it to become crunchy!

If buying: ordinary sweet cinema popcorn, I know its not as sweet as Butterkist popcorn but I can actually eat it without feeling sick after a while. Shame about the price though, about £2.50 for a small and about £4.50 for a large at my local cinema.
