I'm going to set up a home theater system in our new home, this is my long time dream to have a top notch home theater system.

I went across websites and narrowed down to three options Klipsch or Polk or a home theater in a box system.

Klipsch is bit costly here in India and Polk is somewhat affordable and the packaged system is a lot cheaper than these two.

I want to know how would Polk and Klipsch sound when compared to a home theater in box( eg. Sony,Bose etc...)

When it comes to performance which would sound better Polk or Klipsch, by performance I mean sound detail, clarity, liveliness and thumping Bass.

My usage will be mostly for movies , music and gaming.

And which receiver would be great to pair with these Denon or Yamaha?

And if there are any other brands which would be priced mid-range and can give good output please do suggest.

Thanks in advance folks for your valuable suggestions.

Klipsch will certainly sound better than Sony or Bose HTIB. Can’t say about the Polk unless you give us a model number, since they make speakers at all price-points.
