Polk TSI Question?

Does anyone know if the woofers between the previous monitor series polks and the TSI series are the same? I know that the exteriors seem to look very similiar.

I did a quick search and found some posts on the Polk forum from a Polk CS rep that is also a member here (dorokusai, or Mark). He wrote in 2008 that they are not the same woofers. Some of the key statements that he makes in posts from the thread linked here are below.

...the TSi series was not based on the Monitor series. It's placed between the Monitor and the current RTiA series.

So, no - I don't believe that they are the same woofers.
