I don't know much about home theater so i just wanted to pose the question. Has anyone tried to use the polk soundbar as a center channel? I just would be curious what the effect would be if you intigrated it into a normal 5.1 system as the center channel?

this is a "guess" at best, but since soundbars have built in delay circuitry to help create the false soundfield, I would think it would not be a good choice for a center channel speaker. The center channel carries almost all of the primary vocal audio and it is meant to be directional "from" the TV screen (thereby "from" the actors)....not diffused and indirect.

Mirage

Instead of nanosats go to vann's and pick up 5 Omnisat v2 for $99 each and get a separate sub.
