Polk S4 shelf speakers?

I noticed, in a stuff-for-sale poster on campus, a pair of polk s4 speakers for $30. Sounds like a pretty good score. All I've been able to figure out is they are 2-way with a 6 1/4 sub. Info on them is pretty scarce online. Anybody know anything about them or have any experience with them?

I called at 2:30 and couldn't go there for a while. At 7:30, I called the guy again and someone else had already bought the speakers.
