That's a crazy deal on these speakers... now I'm beginning to to second guess my choice on buying a set of Martin Logan Preface speakers ($499 each). But, these Polks will probably need external amps to bring out the best in them.

Yes they need lots of power. I use an xpa-3 and once used 2 xpa-1's. The xpa1's made them rock and sound amazing. The speakers also look amazing.

Amazon has 'Definitive Mythos 2's that sell for 549.00, marked down to 199.00 each. But you have to order SILVER, Black is still 549.00 each. They look beautiful in silver. At least in our system they do. I can't hear color, so I bought them for how they sound!
