Polk RTI A9

Are the Polk RTI A9 speakers worth looking into and if so what are the pro and cons of them?

I think their are better speakers at their MSRP, but when discounted they can be a good deal. I think they are good speakers from the occasions I have demoed them.

I really like mine, they play low and loud but you really need power behind them. They won't sound very good with a regular AVR, mine are powered by Emotiva XPA-5 200x5. My room isn't huge, 12x20, so they fill it easily but they could use a little more room. If your not doing separates then look elsewhere for smaller less demanding speakers.
