Polk RM6750 5.1 System best buy under $300?

Since on Maze's advice Im going to be furnishing my upstairs family room with a relatively good unit, Im looking at a basic but half decent entry level system for the basement.

Anyone know anything about the POLK-RM6750? It has gotten pretty good reviews.

I guess the KEY question is can you get anything better at that price like perhaps the Infinity Home Theater Speaker System-TSS 450 for $199. Got CR's best buy award (in 2006) but doesnt seem to sell as well as the Polk.

and/or is there something signifigantly better including the Sub not more than a $100 more (i.e 350 or less)?

plus the 2 woofers was a decent unit. ...Add in the 2 woofers and a center thats 750-800.

I'll use that get up for the main room, with a lower less expensive unit for downstairs
