receiver is a denon 1712, would cost $100 more for the polk setup. I heard fs52's vs the polk 60's off the crappy best buy setup and the polkds deffinitely got louder but werent as crisp as the fs52's. Does the sound qulity improve from the 60 to the 70 on the monitor series? Also i'd assume my Denon 1712 would put better power down then the bestbuy hookup. Any thoughts on which setup you'd run? Need to know tonight if i want to grab the 70's on sale, Thanks!!

The Monitor series pretty much has the same tonal character, the
bigger monitors will play louder. I favor the overall sound quality
of the Pioneers, compared to the louder and un-realistic sounding
Polk Monitor series.
