I just purchased a Polk CS2 center channel and am quite pleased with it. It is a tremendous difference over my blows VCS-10. However, I have done some reading and found that the 1" silk dome tweeter has a reputation for being easily blown.
- Has anyone here experienced this?
- How can I avoid it?
Also, it is connected to an ~8 year old receiver - a JVC RX-888VBK. I know the tweeter is not blown yet so I will definitely watch the volume level. I do plan to replace this receiver when money permits. Probably something from Marantz.
