In the process of upgrading my system and am gaining some interest in the new LSIM 7 bookshelfs to replace my LSI 9's. If I were to sell my 9's, any idea what they would be worth ?

They are in mint new condition / black cabinets.

I normally recommend to start selling used speakers at 50% of original msrp (not purchase price), but in case of Polk LSi series - if sorted by price (low to high) LSi/9 were the first decent Polk bookshelf yet the same time so insanely overpriced.

TBH I think the best place to sell them at top dollar would be over polk forums - https://www.polkaudio.com/forums/

Good luck and once you do sell them come back here and lets discuss options for new bookshelves - there are hundreds of options better and cheaper than polk

If you are fortunate you might get $500 - I think they tend to sell for less.

In 2012 you could get them new, for $499 shipped.

Simplest way to find out is to go to Ebay and Audiogon and check what they're going for, because interested parties are going to do the same. The 9s are probably one of the better speakers in that lineup, but only the vintage Polks really hold their value IMO, and for good reason.

Before I bought my MB Quart Vera's I was looking for some LSi9's to replace my 7's as surrounds, or maybe even my 25's for fronts which were way more speaker then I can use.

Over the last year or so it seems $400-$475 on CL and around $500 on ebay for the LSi9's. They seem to sell faster then the other LSi models.

The 7's were $225-$275 on CR, $250-$300 on ebay but they seem to linger. Same price for the LSiC but it also goes fast. Not enough 15's or 25's on the used market to get a feel for the pricing and those two might still be on Polks ebay Store.

The Cherry models are in slightly higher demand then the Ebonys.

These are all "listed" prices on CL. Have no idea what they actually sold for.
