Hi,
I'm currently running a Poineer VSX-52TX with a Sony BDP-BX1. The receiver can't do PCM or trueHD audio, and the Blueray player does not have 7.1 analog out. Is there a way with this setup for my to get 7.1 out of the Blueray player?
If not what is the next cheapest option? If would get a blueray player with 7.1 analog out and have it decode the audio, will it be the same quality with having the receiver do it. Or do I need to get a receiver that is up-to-date.
Any help is highly appreciated (I'm unable to post links yet or else I would have included some links to specs).
