Plsama screen all green

HI GUYS,

My Panasonic plasma---- TH-42PHD8UK--- the sreen is all green like night vision.
I moved it disconecting all cables and hooked everthing back up. It was a
bit washed out looking after that and today while checking connections it took to green filter all over.

Any got some much needed advise.

Wear infrared goggles, this will give you more colors.

If you are using component cable make sure you have not mixed the green for the blue.
Did you shut down any other gear? I had a bit of a problem when resetting my cable box for my new tv and because it did not save my settings it defaulted to a sd signal causing my screen to be red. I had to reset the box then unplug it to allow it to fully reboot. It worked fine from that point on.
Have you checked your tv's settings? Perhaps a setting is way off.
Other than than I would disconnect everything and methodically start over checking everything at each step.

Don't know if this applies to your situation, but I recently had a similar problem with my Panasonic AX100U Front Projector (showing all red).

I've got a new Oppo 981 DVD Player connected via HDMI and the problem in my case was due to an HDMI handshake problem. I was able to resolve the issue simply by powering off/on my Oppo. However, Oppo has a firmware upgrade that resolves the problem (1227B).

I also learned that, at least with my setup, it's important for the Display to be up and running before turning on the source device in order to avoid other types of HDMI handshake issues.
