i need advise on a 7.2 setup consisting of these items.

Yamaha Z7
Arcam P1000
B&W 803s x2
B&W HTM3 x1
Psb Synchrony S x4
Sunfire TS-EQ12 x2

i personally feel that using a single channel output from the P1000 does not have sufficient drive to my 803s. I intent to bi-amp my 803s. the question is, can split my signal from my FL / FR pre outs from Z7 to run four channels on my P1000 & at the same time use my Z7 speaker terminals to directly power up my surround back channels? is this correct or shld i be looking at another alternative?

the only thing i worry is that i need to go on advanced setup to set the Z7 to pre-amp mode. after doing this, can the Z7 still power the speakers? that's my concern..

I am not familar with the Z7 but once you connect your mains to the outboard amp the amps in the AVR should be available to power the surrounds and other zones. I did this for years with my Yammy AVRs.
