I am a beginner, even though I’ve spent hundreds of hours trying to finalize my new home theater system. And when I was about to purchase some of the components (Athena in-wall/in-ceiling speakers as well as center speaker), I have found they are no longer available on-line. (I am thinking to buy JBL speakers now)

Here how my complete system supposed to looks like:

Room size 15X15ft with complete glass wall on my left, if that makes difference.

TV - SONY KDE50XS955
Receiver - Yamaha RX-V750 7.1 Channel - $330
DVD - Sony DVP-NC875V/B 5-Disc - $120
Speakers:
Front – (in-wall) – Athena AS-IW6 (pair) - $130 (JBL SP8 - $170)
Back – (in-ceiling) – Athena AS-IC6 (pair) - $130 (JBL SP8C - $160)
Center Speaker – Athena C.5 - $90 (I don’t know what would replace this one)
I was thinking to put another back speaker in back wall in addition to the pair in Ceiling (may be Yamaha in–wall speaker).
Subwoofer – Velodyne VX 10 - $130

What would be another alternatives for my Athena speakers’ selection, I willing to go a little higher with my spending if that would be necessary? Any comments are welcome.
Please tell me if this setup needs to be improved.

JBL is a step down from Athena. Depends on your budget. For the Athena price, the only ones I think would be of similar quality for in walls would be and of these:

MURO M-60
MURO M-80
MURO VI-38

That subwoofer is fine at that price. You must put it in a corner though.

Get this center if it will fit. $125 or less. Nothing comes close at that price.

Venturi
DV62CLR-S

Try Shopzilla.com for prices (or any other seach engine you're familiar with)

Why would JBLs be a step down?

I see, they are a lot cheaper; forgive me for a stupid question why would JBLs be a step down?

Check out the Niles DS6.3 for your surrounds. I have four of them in my ceiling and they work great. The whole driver and tweeter pivots toward your listening position. I got them from http://dependableaudiovideo.com for around $150 each. I use them with Axiom M80's, Axiom VP150, and SVS PB2-plus. All is driven by Denon 3805 and the Niles sound great, even at uncomfortably loud volumes.

What would you say about JBL HTI series? Are they good?
Which ones would you pick: Definitive UIWs, ADS HTs, or RBH MCs ?

andremar,
You should probably start a new thread. I personally have the Def Tech UIW-BPs (side surrounds) and UIW-64s (rear channels). They are an excellent choice.
