Gents,
I finally got all my Klipsch Ref stuff in and set it up. One word, AMAZING!!!! I can't wait to break them in a little and see how much they improve (not that they need it at all!:D). My receiver can bi amp (Yammy RX-V1800), and I wanted to do an A/B test so I could report back to everyone on my thoughts (I have RF-82s).

One problem though, I'm about 8-9 ft short of 1 speaker cable to my right front. I was wondering if anyone had an extra clipping of 14 AWG speaker wire laying around that they would be willing to part with in the interest of research;). I would definitely reimburse shipping via Paypal if someone would be nice enough to ship it. Please pm me if anyone would be willing to donate an 8-9 ft piece.

Thanks again boys!

Go out and buy 10 ft of cable. I doubt you could ship it for the price.

I hope you didn't spend a bunch on cables, especially to get a "sound" from them.

No, I didn't spend a ridiculous amount of money on cables at all. I shopped around and used Monoprice (unfortunately I had to wait extra long though because the train carrying the package derailed!). I would def. go get 10 ft of cable, but I don't know any places to get just 10 ft of 14 AWG.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks

Where are you located? I thought everyone had a Radio Shack, for testing what they have will be fine.

I guess I'll have to try a local radio shack or Home Depot to see about a little bit of 14 AWG wire. Hopefully the quality will at least be decent.

Thanks

The quality will be fine! Wire is wire! (Peter Walker)

The wire is usually on a spool and they cut it to whateve length you specify, so you can get just 9 foot or a little extra in case you need it.
