John,

I don't have much to offer, but I feel bad that nobody else has chimed in.

My best suggestion is to ask the dealer you bought the receiver from. Hopefully they'll have one set up and be able to walk you through the process.

Whether they're self-powered active speakers or not, I'd think you should still set them to small.

I don't know that specific receiver - sorry. I'd agree to ask the dealer.

I'd also agree to set the mains to small. That'll take a load off your main amp and let you tweak sub positioning without impacting imaging of the mains.

Pg 29 of the manual explains how to use the EZ setup. The 7300 has independent X-over control. Since your fronts power the bass drivers, set them to small and I would be inclined to use a 40Hz or 60Hz X-over on those and an 80Hz on the rest.
