So here is my basic layout. For better perspective sake, the front wall is about 30 ft wide, left wall is about 20 ft , and ceilings are 8ft (except above stairs, it opens up to about 15ft ceiling). Ascend Sierra 1's sit on each side of the TV, and downfiring sub is in back left corner, about 6 inches from each wall, port aiming opposite the couch. Large bookshelves all along back wall, behind couch. Surrounds sit atop bookshelves. Center sits under TV. Hardwood floors, big but not very thick area-rug in front of couch
There is a piano and some small furniture in the area off to the right, and a side table to the left of the couch. Windows all double panes and have big suede curtains.
How/would you treat this room, mostly for 2.1 music listening?
