I just bought a Sharp LC-32D64U 1080p HDTV. I am trying to set up my cable box by connecting it directly to the display with an HDMI 1.3 cable. However the display does not recognize that there is any signal coming through the HDMI port. I am positive that it is not a defective cable and that the cable box is set up correctly as I recently set up my panasonic plasma HDTV with no problems using the HDMI. Any help as to why the display wont recognize the HDMI signal from the cable box would be greatly appreciated.
